    Swap Partition Question.

    Hello,

I gathered from the last post it does not matter if the swap is logical or a primary partition? Also it can be any place but maybe the first partition? Would there be any thing wrong with having several linux distro's use the same swap obviously only one being active at a time? The swap could be in front of the active linux partition or even separated by several partitions?

    Thanks

Yes, it can be on primary or extended, and pretty much any where on the disk.

Yes, a single SWAP partition can be shared by as many distros as your disk will hold.
