    Failed to start the x server (your graphical interface) error

    hi all,
    While i started to run the Live CD for 'Gnewsense' distro, i got the following message after the initial screen : Failed to start the x server (your graphical interface )'. Then the system hanged.

    My system has an LCD display of viewsonic 19". with AMD athlon 6000+ processor and 4gb memory.

    Can any one suggest a solution please ?
