how to start linux
I installed on my system "window xp" and "rhel4 update 2" but due to some problem I removed my windows xp O/S and installed that again after that grub boot menu is not coming so I can't log in properly in linux system. Can anyone Pleez tell me its solution.
Windows overwrites grub with it's own bootloader. Probably the easiest way is to download the supergrub cd and boot from that to restore your grubShould you be sitting wondering,

Boot up from RHEL installation CD/DVD and execute boot linux rescue at prompt or select Recovery option in Menu. It will drop at shell prompt.
chroot /mnt/sysimage grub-install /dev/sda exit exit
