Lenovo usb linux help
I have a lenovo ideapad s12 and i want to run live linux on it off a usb drive. I have already tried puppy linux and damn small linux, one of them worked but i cant remember which one. Regardless, wifi didnt work while using it so it was pointless.
So, what i want is linux that can be run off a usb stick (doesnt install anything on the laptop's hdd), has flash (for youtube), and a wifi driver that works with said live usb linux.

Might have tried the wrong version of Puppy for your ideapad. You can give
Fluppy
a try.
Might work out for you. Comes with a lot of wifi drivers and flash comes preinstalled. I run a SD flash card of Puppeee on my Acer Aspire one and EEEPCs and it Picks up my Atheros and Realtek wireless chips OK. Fluppy is made by same developer . You can do a persistent frugal install to flash (save changes) if you dig deep enough for the info on Jemimahs site.Linux Registered User # 475019
