installation without cd
i am trying to install linux in one of my machines.but wen the installation process begins at certain time it shows an error saying some rpm package is not available . different different packages wil be missing each time.so i think it might be a problem related to my usb port or cd drive or server.so i thought of installing via ftp .
can some1 help me to install via ftp.what are inital setup i should hav to install via ftp.i do have a network and all.or is there any ither methods which i can try??
Thanx in advance
It could be a number of problems including a dirty CD or CD drive. IT could also be a corrupted download. Did you check the md5sums or anything when you downloaded the iso? Did you verify the CD burned properly?
