    Look around and try a few. Just the cost of download time and CDs. I don't own a Mac. Read up on below web page to make a informed decision.

    These Linux distributions are known to work on PowerPC hardware of some sort. The "hardware" column is meant to list what is well-supported; it's usually possible but difficult to get a distribution onto a poorly-supported PPC platform.

    Thanks It really helped as well as google I finally found Boot X after a few hours of searching
