Switching From Linspire to Yoper
I used to dual boot between Xp Pro and Linspire 4.5. I would like to change my linux OS to yoper. I went under QtParted in knoppix and formated the fat32 partition (linspire) and resized it to my liking. When i turn on my computer the linspire start up screen still comes up,
1. Linspire
2. Redetect
3. Diagnostics
4. MS Windows XP
I would like to stop that screen from coming up every time i turn it on. I don't have a floppy drive in my laptop, so i cant do fdisk /mbr. Any ideas?
Thanks

I use lilo.
I wasn't sure if i had to get rid of the linspire startup screen before i installed yoper. i guess it overwrites it. thanks

yeah, no problem
yoper uses qtparted and the installation is <15 minutes, so you're set

yeah i used QTParted in knoppix to set up the partitions, doesn't yoper run on Ext3? i put a 20 GB Ext 3 and a 200 MB Swap, but whenever i try to go any further it says no linux partition found. Could it be Ext2?
