grub2 configure menu?
I tried renaming to make xp the first menu item. But it is after linux. Not acceptable. Too much stuff that need to run on xp, with no linux alternative program, when I am not home. And wife will boot to Ubu on power outage.
We are not allowed to edit the grub.cfg and no menu1st.

Just make Windows the default entry see here - if you really want to change order then you can do that as well ... but it is not necessary to get Windows to be the default boot.
