    installation problem

    i have usb modem and i want to install its software.
    first i go to software dirctory , after runing as root then in terminal i write ./configure it give error something like this
    "no such directory found "

    plz help me

    Hello and Welcome to the forums.
    You'll need to give us more info to better help you get this working or at least try to. Plug the device into the machine and issue these commands and post your results please. which distro are you using? Which version? Which desktop? Can you tell us about your systems specifications? You need to login as root or use sudo for the commands below.
