Default location of GRUB conf files is /boot/grub folder. Boot up from LiveCD of any Linux distro and execute fdisk -l command in Terminal. Post the output here.
It's small L in fdisk -l.Code:fdisk -l
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

I did the partition with File system ext4 and puppy homepage says it has to be ext2/ext3, I'll try ext3 now after done wiping with DBAN.

EDIT= Thevalues messed up so ill put em otherwise:
End:4871
Blocks:39118972
Id:83
System:Linux
And I missed 1 line: Units:cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280
Solved it just ignored the error and put the text string the puppy installer gives tou in the menu.lst and rebooted... successLast edited by sportcrazy60; 03-18-2011 at 03:42 PM. Reason: prob.solved
