[SOLVED] How Setup cvs in Fedora8
Hi,
I want to setup cvs environment in my Linux server machine. I am using Fedora 8 .since i new to linux, i dont know the procedure to setup cvs.
Can any one explain the steps to configure this.

There are multiple howtos in the internet on how to do this.
Googling for "cvs howto" will help you.You must always face the curtain with a bow.

For an up to date fedora/centos/scientif linux/redhat distribution I would say
yum install cvs.
While the repository mirrors for fedora 8 are still up,
MirrorManager
I donīt know from the top of my head, if yum was already in place back then.
The tool could also have been up2date.
Fedora 8 was released in 2007 and is not supported anymore.
If possible I would recommend fedora 14You must always face the curtain with a bow.
