Problems installing Samsung printer
I am completely and utterly Linux illiterate. I had to install Linux because I watched too much porn with windows and windows irreparably crashed.
I've tried to look online on how to install a driver for my Samsung ML-2525 printer and none of the language on how to do it makes any sense to me.
This is what I've done so far:
I have downloaded the newest version of the Universal Linux Driver and have a folder on my desktop from that download that is titled cdroot.
I do not know what to do from here. If someone can explain to me the steps to complete the install I would appreciate it very much and I promise I will never watch porn again.

I love your honesty, big props to you.

Try this link, it worked once and it might work again.

I have seen this forum before. The problem that I have is that I put the auto run script in and it says command not found.
This is what I type: $ sudo cdroot/autorun
This is the response that I receive: sudo: cdroot/autorun: command not found

Is your system set to use sudo? If not then don't use it. Which distro are you using? You may or may not need to login as root, I don't know anything about the script you are trying to run.

I appreciate your prompt replies!
I know that it is set for sudo because I had to use it to reset my password when I forgot both my username and password and could not log into my computer. I'm smart enough to at least figure that out so I'm not completely useless.
my distro is ubuntu 10.04 Lucid
