Boot Puppy from USB-stick on mac.
I got a USB-stick with linux Puppy on, and i would like to boot it on my mac. When i boot my mac and hold down the option key on startup i can only choose Macintosh and not my USB-stick.
To get Puppy on my USB i used the guide for Ubuntu you can see here: ubuntu.com/download/ubuntu/download
I don't know if i should do something different with Puppy.

Try using
Linux Live USB Creator (LiLi) from Windows | USB Pen Drive Linux
http://www.linuxliveusb.com/en/download
looks like only for Windows.
Another one is
UNetbootin - Homepage and Downloads
which has a download for Mac.Linux Registered User # 475019
