mandrake crashes on hp pavilion zv5137

hi,
can anyone help me with this issue?
the installation is successfull (10.1) but after a few minutes the USB mouse
freezes then a few minutes later the touchpad goes, I have been using the
Nvidia (module) kernel but it doesn't seem to help.

I have also tried 9.2 and get the same result and of course I am talking about graphic mode, run level 5.

again any help is welcome, I will check this board once a day.

There's no such thing as an "nVidia kernel"
I think you're referring to the nVidia driver (kernel module).
The kernel is Linux, the core of it, and the nVidia driver just interfaces between it and your nVidia video card.
If the video card is the problem, make sure you edited your X config file correctly. See the nVidia README file for information.
