    Suse 8.1 Monitor Resolution



    I installed Suse 8.1 and have a Gateway LCD and the only res I can get is 640x480! Help it drives me crazy! Any time I try to change to 1024 it always fails and I get " XServer test failed EEI810:640x480 Please choose one of these modes"

    Have you tried configuring it with xf86cfg?
