I have downloaded Mathematica 7.0.1,and now I have this:
    edgeiso.nfo emlin01.iso emlin701.bin emlin701.cue
    INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Unrar, Burn or mount with Daemon Tools.

I thougt Daemon Tools is for windows,so I am confused and the bin is not executable.

Wolfram's commercial product, Mathematica, is now up to version 8.0.4. You can download the latest trial version from their website.

Is this a fully legitimate version of the software, or is it some kind of unofficial 'trial'? You are aware that there are student versions of this available for very little money?

The 'bin' and 'cue' files are not executable in this case, they're data blocks normally assigned to a DVD.
