Unetbootin : installing syslinux failure
Hello,
I tried to create an USB boot configuration.
However the step 3 - installing syslinus is failing, precisely never ending as stucked at 33% of completion.
I formatted the USB to fat32 using GParted before using it.
Looks ok.
Maybe I needed additional dd operation on it ?
The iso is the latest from SuperGrub2Disk.
But I got same problem with other .ISO from the Unetbooting distros lists.
Many thanks for your attention or clue.

What distribution+version ISO are you trying to install? Some won't work with Unetbootin. Formatting to fat32 should not be the issue here. Was the ISO a Live CD/DVD image?

I've had problems installing a live image with unetbootin before, and it was something with the thumb drive or flash card that I was using. Have you tried another (newer, different manufacturer, etc) thumb drive yet? Even though I have had some problems in the past, I have been able to install a live USB drive many, many times with unetbootin.
