newbie in need of guidence
okay i run windoze98se, which is probobly expected, i need to know how to partition my HD to run both OS's..first thing i need to know is where to get a full version of slack, cause ive looked around and havent seen anything like a full install type program. its all jumbled. id appriciate any help any of you can provide. thank you

Are you prepared to format your Winbloze installation? In any other case, you'll need to use PartitionMagic or so.
If you're new to Linux, I wouldn't recommend Slackware. Go with RedHat, SuSE or Mandrake instead.

if you need to keep both the OS's running, use partition magic and create another partition to use for linux...
then just put the linux cd in, it will detect your partitions and start the installation..if you cant boot through the cd you'll need to make a bootable floppy...
