I always find that when you are learning a new OS that it is a pain to remember where things are located.
Right now I am looking for the hardware browser on RH9.
According to the getting started guide it is under system settings in the main menu.
I can't find it. I don't see an option to install either under add/remove
Any ideas?

On my RH8 system, it is under System Tools, not System Settings.

It's not there either. I have checked everything under the main menu.
Is there a command that I can use instead?

The command is hwbrowser. If that doesn't work, install the hwbrowser RPM.
Of course, everything that can be done with hwbrowser can always be done better with the proc fs tools, if only you know how.
