Installation Issues

I have been trying to install Fedora on my laptop and the installation process stops at the the line:

running install...
running /sbin/loader

I tried to install Ubuntu as well but the problem persists.

laptop specs:
Intel Celeron M 520 1.6GHz
2.00 GB (1.87 GB usable)

Hi,

What version of Fedora are you trying? Is there an option to try Install in basic graphics or something like that? You could also try text mode or advanced mode. See the following Fedora article on installation boot options:

If none of those work, I would consider try booting with the SystemRescueCD, a Live Linux distro which is forgiving w/hardware and might at least let you know that your hardware is all working.

I did try to install in basic graphics. I tried to install both 15 and 17 and the same thing happened no matter which build I was trying to install.

Have you tried same installation media in any other machine? Are sure that there in nothing wrong with installation media?

Which Graphics Card do you have? Have tried text install?
