    installation of centos 6.4

    i have a laptop using amd processor of 32 bit. i have installed centos 6.4 x86_64. is it ok or will there be any problem while installing packages and applications? if yes, is there any method to solve? kindly suggest

    If the install procedure finished correctly and you can boot into linux, then or your processor does support 64b or by mistake you installed a 32b version of Centos. In either way you are Ok to install packages and applications.
    Or if at the install you get a message like "this processor does not support 64b" and fails, then you need to specifically install a 32b version of Centos.
