I just re-installed grub on XP hard drive now i get this error when i boot into windows from grub(or from anywhere for that matter).

I just re-installed grub on XP hard drive now i get this error when i boot into windows from grub(or from anywhere for that matter).
Also, now whenever I try to mount the drive i get this error :Code:"ntldr is missing"
(i mounted the drive many many many times befire this with no errors, im totally lost)Code:mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdb1, or too many mounted file systems

there is no way of knowing your HD and partion info where grub is instaled
like where is what?

grub doesnt know where your drives or partions are and neither do I from your explanation
please explain more
like your grub file and partition table/ fstab
and why you reinstald grub
like a "drive' is a big place

hi i would like to know how would you configure grub manually to get the window partition. Would it be the same as the path specified as the boot.ini file in windows. I think this might help the first guys question too
