    Questions on Dual Boot

    Hello everyone, I was just wondering if anyone could provide me with info on dual booting linux with XP pro on my machine. I need all of my network settings to remain in tact for school so I can still connect to virtual drives and the like in XP on my schools LAN (all students are provided with identical laptops--which are ours to keep, but the network settings are very important). If anyone could tell me the first steps to take and what flavor of linux theyd suggest I would greatly appreciate it as I have grown tired of using a live linux distro (even though Slax is an excellent distro). Thank you very much.

    Check out the Tutorials Section for some excellent resources on grub and dual-booting.

    If you would like to explain in detail your network stuff, perhaps we could help you implement a complete Linux solution.
