As, i already installed XP on first partition, i would like to modify the boot.ini file of Windows XP rather than intalling again a linux bootloader in such a way i can select to boot into linux at the time of bootup. For this i need the boot code of the linux in a file as ntloader expects it in a file. then i can add the linux entry to boot.ini. But how to get this boot code into a file of the partition which is written with linux image using dd tool. Any help, greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.
