I have a UEFI-based ASUS Netbook with Kubuntu. I decided to make a Kali Linux partition on my disk, but I had some troubles. First, I used UNetbootin, and the BIOS detected my USB stick, but it couldn't boot it so it kept booting Kubuntu instead. Then I tried it using the 'dd if=kali.iso of=/dev/sdb bs=512k' way, but it worked even worse because the BIOS didn't even recognize my USB. I don't know what is going wrong. When I installed Kubuntu one yeat ago I didn't have any kind of problem using UNetbootin, but I don't know what's wrong with Debian based distros. Hope you can help me. Thanks!
