Problems with installing RH 8
Hey guyz,
I'm installing red hat 8.0 on my old machine via cd's, and my computer stops responding when the installer checks the partitions on my HD... I tried installing it in a much older machine (Pentium III) and it worked. How is this so?
Thanks in advance!!!

as usual, have you checked the md5sums?
do you run the disc check during the boot up process? what are the results?
would it be too much trouble for you to get red hat 9? it is scores better imho.
