Well:
Floppy-Linux
Hal 91
Tin Foil Hat Linux
They are all floppy distributions, all of which I like.

You can use a tool called rawrite to copy over things to a floppy directly (like a bootable image)

Yeah I know
But when I restart Windows 3.1 with the bootable floppix disk, it says invalid system disk. And I cant find a way in the Bios to switch it to boot from a floppy. I dont know if olf packard bell 605 with Windows 3.1 can even boot from a floppy. They might just boot from hardrive. Any suggestions ?

What keys have you used to get into the BIOS? I think some of the old PBs used Ctrl-F1 or F2.

All Computers can boot from the floppy (as long as it's on-board)
you need to format the disk before you use rawrite on it.
if that doesn't work, try pressing the "any key" to try again
lastly try a new floppy.

It's not a matter of your BIOS.
