Lose HD space forever?
Hi All,
I'm new to the forum but have already started learning. Great job!
I'm prepping a home system to dual boot Win & SuSe Personal (vs. 9.x?). My question is this...
If I let Linux take the unpartioned space remaining after the Win install, will I be able to re-format the drive under DOS and re-claim that drive space at a later time?
Thanks in advance for any and all responses!

let me make sure I understand correctly
you have "exemple" 100gig
you take 60gig for windows and leave the rest...
you install linux on the 40gig left..
and if ever you feel like removing linux, you want to be able to format the drive that linux in on right?
if so yes you can do that

Ugo,
Thanks! Yes, your example is exactly what my concern is over.
It may have been a stupid question but it was a real one
I did search the forum a bit before posting but wasn't hitting anything exactly like my question.
From here, I will be going over the tutorials and such and hopefully not asking too many "newbie" questions
Thanks again,
Delyn
