    also I dun think SuSe pro is there for download, people have to pay for this version.

    SuSE does not have downloadable ISO images. The official reason for this is that the distribution contains non-GPL software such that providing ISO's would break the licence terms.

    It's also a handy way of forcing people who want to use SuSE to purchase a copy. Either that or install a copy from a friends CD / DVD - or even perhaps copy the CD / DVD so that you have it yourself.

    I actually like SuSE (am running it now) and I'm not too bothered that there are no ISO's to download. If you don't have a fast net connection it's a moot point anyway. You don't have to buy the full price 8.2 anyway - if you buy the "update" version then you get exactly the same CD's / DVD's, the Administration Guide, but not the User Guide.
