    HI,

    I have a problem during installation of Mandrake . This is the first time i am using Linux. The error message come out after i press <enter> button after the welcome screen. the Error message is :

    could not open compressed ramdisk file {sysroot/tmp/image/stage2/mdkinstage2.bz2}

    I have no clue what ramdisk is the first place .. However, when i check the installation cd th mdkinstage2.bz2 file does exist in //install/image/stage2/mdkinstage2.bz2 ..

    May i know what should i do to resolve this problem ..
    P.S. i am now booting using Disket not CD as it cannot run from it althought i have select to boot from Cd on BIOS.

    Thank you in advance..

    Regards,
    Billy
