how to char set for Linux
Hi all,
I have just joined this forum.I am having a problem..
The problem is
1.when i copy a file which is named in this character "§" eg. "filename_§.txt" this is getting reflected as "boxes".
This char is ok with the windows machine.
how this can be solved.

Is there any specific reason for having that character in the filename? I would suggest normalizing your filename a little.

If that is a non-english charactor then you'll need to install the rpm or install app for that language support.
