You can install rpms with this command in the terminal:

su

enter your root pass

Code:

rpm -i foo.rpm

replace foo.rpm with the real package name.

mohsin, what errors do you get when you try and use amsn? Try and be as verbose as possible in your questions;

sorry guyz actually as u can see i just joined the forum and just have suse installed on my pc but due to new interface i just move xp and linux time to time

Instead of amsn or whatever its called y dont u just use gaim then u can connect to all your IM accounts like yahoo,msn,aim,icq and a whole lot of other ones try it you might like it i know i do

i have gaim but

.. i m not able to run it . mean its hanged again and again

i m behing proxy thats address is 192.168.0.1 how can i configure it .. thnx
