compiling module for nforce chipset: error

    HI,

I´m trying to install device drivers for my nforce chipset, but when I try to compile the module for the ethernet device I´m getting an error that the file /usr/include/linux/modversions.h does not exist.
    Has anyone a useful hint?
I´m using debian woody and got the nforce sources as a tarball from the nvidia homepage.

    Thanks, Roland

Do you have your kernel source installed?
