unable to install mandrake10.1
hi mine is an hp compaq presario sr1235il model pc iam unable to install linux in my pc
when i keep the cd and restarted first it is propting to press enter to install
when i do it it is simply restarting and it is repeting
these are my hard ware profiles

when i checked the MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO. website which is my main circuit board
i checked for os support and it is given that it cannot support Linux due to
chipset limitation. Chipset cannot support APM function
so is there any alternative

Sorry, I did some quick research on your computer at both HP and MSI, funny your stats and their stats do not match.
So where did you get the Mandrake disk from? If it is a good disk, it should load.
