    install RPMs

    the follwing 2 things are my problem

    I've downloaded kernel-source-2.6-2.6.8.1-24mdk.i586

    how can I add this with my Paketsource-Manager ??

    because I didn't know this I tried to do this in the console

    with the following command

    urpmi kernel-source-2.6-2.6.8.1-24mdk.i586.rpm
    error: kernel-source-2.6-2.6.8.1-24mdk.i586.rpm: MD5 digest BAD Expected(9e14a741573ed45cd52a8f9245c62c8b) != (a6c101f6a5ab2c987ff5ce20c4e6efd6
    Ich kann die RPM-Datei nicht registrieren
    Alles betreits installiert

    But thats a lie I installed only a privious version
    after a Kernel update i want to install also the new sources

    so I tried to deinstall the sources and tried again but i got the same error

    The kernel-source package should be in Mandrake Update (if you already have the older version installed). You should be able to just use urpmi kernel-source to grab the package, either way.
    There are two major products that come out of Berkeley: LSD and UNIX. We don't believe this to be a coincidence.

    rpm -Uvh kernel-source-2.6-2.6.8.1-24mdk.i586
