FTP install of FC3
Hello ,
I am trying to install Fedora Core 3 over a current Debian installation. Since I don't have a cd-rom, I will be trying an FTP install. I am currently using the LILO boot loader with the following configuration.
# Support LBA for large hard disks.
#
lba32
boot=/dev/hda
root=/dev/hda2
install=/boot/boot-menu.b
map=/boot/map
delay=20
vga=normal
# Boot up Linux by default.
#
default=Linux
image=/vmlinuz
label=Linux
read-only
# restricted
# alias=1
That's everything in the config that is commented out. I've heard that I can point that config file to a 'boot image' that will allow me to begin the network installation process. My Questions are:
1) what are all the files (bootdisk.img) will I need to put into the Lilo config file to begin the installation?
2) Where in my config file above do I need to put these files ?
Thanks in advance for your help.
