Mandrake 9.1 install problems
Wow, talk about the best way to start off installing your first linux os. (sacarastic)
hehe..well I just installed a linux distro for the first time..and I chose mandrake 9.1 to start off with. It was either that or redhat 9 but I chose mandrake. Anyway, how embarrassing. I'm already having problems installing. At the drakx installation screen, it gives me a <f1> or <enter> option. When i try using the default installation pressing enter, my screen goes black and my keyboard lights blink continously. Can anyone help. The text installation works...but i really wanted to use the gui installation.

sounds like it's not correctly picking up your graphics card and monitor.
What graphics card and monitor do you have?
Use Suse 10.1 and occasionally play with Kubuntu
Also have Windows 98SE and BeOS
