installing windows after linux
hi ,
the recommended way for dual boot is to first install windows and then linux....
i have FC3 installed on my sytem.Now i want to install XP
any particular steps i should follow or something to carefull abt ?????

Since XP is going to overwrite your mbr, I would make a boot floppy and make sure it works right before installing XP. Other than that, it's pretty much a no-brainer.
There are two major products that come out of Berkeley: LSD and UNIX. We don't believe this to be a coincidence.

If you are using the GrUB bootloader you will have to repair it after you install win, some instructions how to do this is here.
