i have win 2k pro installed on my computer. i have installed red hat 7.3 by choosing lilo as bootloader and get it write to mbr(is that a big mistake?) ...

    windows 2000 and red hat 7.3

    i have win 2k pro installed on my computer.
    i have installed red hat 7.3 by choosing lilo as bootloader and get it write to mbr(is that a big mistake?)
    During installation red hat found my windows installation as dos.
    default os as linux.

    When i restarted my computer lilo starts linux successfully but when trying to load windows it prompts

    Loading
    L?

    and freezes.
    What can i do to make windows load again?

    First question: In which partition did u install linux ?

    The cause of having windows 2000k freezing is because, you have mostly installed redhat 7.3 in the windows partition unknowingly.

    Secondly, when I wud provide you with a solution later, after u answer my question, I wud recommed u to install Redhat 9 or Fedora Core 3 in your comptuer.
