problem in launching divx -- divx4linux-std-20030428.tar.gz

i have downloaded the file from divx with the version divx4linux-std-20030428.tar.gz , i have done an " tar -zxvf divx4linux-std-20030428.tar.gz" but iam confused how to launch this divx player application ? in redhat fedora core 3. help me

you will need to install the codecs.

cd into the directory the tar command created then run:

./configure
make
make install

that will install it for you, then u will maybe need to tell mplayer where the codec is, and it should work for you

[mohan@localhost divx4linux-20030428]$ ./configure
bash: ./configure: No such file or directory
[mohan@localhost divx4linux-20030428]$ make install
make: `install' is up to date.
[mohan@localhost divx4linux-20030428]$ pwd
/home/mohan/Downloads/divx4linux-20030428

i have done this , tel me how to integrate and launch the divx player? iam a newbie explain me clearly ...thanks in advance...mohan.
