    Need help finding a suitable distro

    hi i want to make my own distro. i need a distro where the programs are all together under a single folder so they dont conflict with the actaull system i make for example a LFS system just after the temporary system is made and all the progs are under /tools so i can just try and install programs the usually way.

    Try knoppix or any other Live CD. All programs are under /media/cdrom or something simular
