    amsn installation


    hello, i was trying to install amsn but when i runned the ./amsn it showed me the following:

    Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
    Xlib: No protocol specified
    Application initialization failed: this isn't a Tk applicationcouldn't connect to display ":0.0"
    Error in startup script: invalid command name "wm"
    while executing
    "wm state . withdraw"
    (file "./amsn" line 43)
    can anyone help me find a solution, thanks

    where are you running:
    Code:
    ./amsn
    from? If it in a virtual terminal (ctrl + alt + F1-F6) or is it in a terminal within your window manager.

    If it's the latter, is it a root terminal and you're logged in as the user? If so, try running it as the user not root.
