Mandrake 10.1, Win XP- Compaq laptop
OK. I don't know too much so I could really use some advice. I have install disks for Mandrake 10.1 and want to put it on my laptop. My hardrive is 27GB and has tons of space free. What I was going to do is resize my windows partition with partition magic and then run Mandrake. After resizing will the Mandrake install basically decide what needs to be done with the remaining space or will I need to input some numbers? All I really want to know is how to do the install without things going wrong. Any help would be awesome

Madrake instalator should detect windows partitions and use free disk space (space with no partition, not free space on NTFS/FAT32 volume) and create there required patitions.
