    install debian 3.0 from hard drive



    Hi there,

    I am a linux learner and have an old laptop without floppy drive and CD-ROM. Can I install debian or other linux system from the hard drive? The hard drive is bootable (dos 6.2) and used as an USB portable disk.

    bought an used floppy form ebay. linux was installed.
