linux install
Hi,
i recently istalled Winxp on a 20 gb partition of 80 GB HD. The other partions are 20 gb each primary dos and exteded, reamining is free space. I am trying to install Redhat 9 but after few steps it ask for disk device driver. and a error message come and roots. Can anybody help me to solve this.

Can you post the exact error message you get?

The error is No hard drives have been found.

its samsung spo812c 80 gb

i think that is the same hard drive as what i have. it just needs the the driver for it cos its a scsi not an ide.

Try installing the newest stable version, Fedora Core 3.
