    Hi guys,

I'm a linux newbie and have a problem with my hard-drive posibilly.I was using Mandrake 10.1 and Win XP within the same hd,they worked just fine;but then i decided to switch to SuSE 9.1,trying to do this something went wrong and i formatted entire hd.
But after that I cannot install XP even if the entire 40 GB of my disk is emty,I get the message "no operating system" after checking hardware process then installation hangs.
    Pls help!!!
