what is possible?
I have recently been given a DEll C800, (Intel PIII-850 processor, 256MB RAM, 10GB Hard Disk, 24X CD-ROM, 15.1" TFT Active Matrix Display, ATI Mobility M4 128bit video card). My idea (being Mac OS centric and not PC) is to erase the hard drive and make the laptop be a Linux laptop, no Windows OS anywhere. Is this possible and what would be the best Linux distribution to run on this laptop? If I have to have Windows on the laptop in order to run Linux, again what would be the best Linux distribution to run? Thanks in advance for your suggests!
