    SuSE 9.3 net-install problem

I am having difficulties with the autoinstall of SuSE 9.3. When I
boot up, I receive the following error after the hardware detection and
activation of usb devices: "Could not find the installation
source. Activating manual setup program." So I then go through the
manual screen and verify that my network card (eth0) is loaded, and
select 'Start Installation / System > Start Installation / Update >
network > FTP. If I choose 'Automatic Configuration via DHCP?', I get
this error: "DHCP Configuration Failed." If I choose no on 'Automcatic
Configuration via DHCP" and manually put in my static IP address,
netmask and gateway, I get this error: "An error occurred during the
network configuration. Probably your network card was not recognized by
    the kernel!"

My laptop has an SiS900 ethernet adapter which SuSE correctly recognizes and loads the module for.

Any idea what is going wrong?

    Where my hat is
Far as I know, SuSE 9.3 hasn't been released for free downloads yet, and that would include the FTP install.

I don't understand... what is it that I have in front of me then? I downloaded a 58 mb .iso image called "9.3-x86-64-Network-Installation". You can get it here:

That's a download for system administrators who already have a full cd of he 9.3 distro.
Debian Jessie x86_64 & armhf :: LibreELEC is the solution for your Linux-based HTPC setups.

SUSe released the min-installation ISO, but they didn't release the files to use it with.
That iso is for businesses who bought the 9.3 dvd and want to do a network install on a bunch of computers.

People like us have to buy the 9.3 dvd or wait till they release it.
