    How to update from Mandrake 8.2 to 9.0

    Hi,

    I have Mandrake Linux 8.2 currently installed on my system.
    Now i have Mandrake Linux 9.0 and want to install it on my Pc without loosing the data.

    When i insert 9.0 CD and click Upgrade, it still started afresh and i lost my old data.

    Is there a way so that i can install 9.0 without loosing data.

    And if you installed and it started fresh how do you plan to get this data back to save in the first place?
