Installing lilo after Slackware 9.0 install
Hi,
Since you handled my fisrt question so well I thought would try another one.
i just installed Slack 9.0.
Only problem I encountered was installing lilo. I tried to install it but it wouldnt install for some reason. I wanted to install it onto a floppy not my hardrive MBR.
So how do I install lilo onto a floppy so that when I turn on my comp with the floppy in it will let me boot to Slack 9.0.
IF I leave the floppy out I can boot to my Windows system.
I have the slack 9.0 install iso and a boot floppy. How do I use these to either boot to slack or create a lilo boot floppy.
Thanks.

I haven't used Slackware, so I can't give you precise guidance. Most distros, however, let you choose a device on which to install LILO. If slackware does that as well, just specify /dev/fd0, which is your first floppy drive.

Re: Installing lilo after Slackware 9.0 install
Heh, it seems like you'll like to have a multiboot system huh? Way use a floppy anyway, instead of install lilo in the mbr or anywhere else on your disk, and then add the partion with windows to your lilo.conf? Try configure this above with liloconfig, which is present in Slackware ...
